BILLING & INVOICING SOLUTION DESIGNER

About the Role

We are seeking an Amdocs RevenueONE Billing & Backend Solution Specialist with hands-on expertise in Amdocs RevenueONE billing and invoicing, backend development, solution design, and integration with telecom BSS/OSS platforms. The role combines backend engineering with Product Owner or Business Analyst experience, translating business and functional requirements into scalable IT designs, APIs, microservices, and reusable backend solutions. You will collaborate with business, technology, DevOps, QA, and operations stakeholders to support Digital ONE / Amdocs solution delivery in a matrix environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead backend solution design and development for Amdocs RevenueONE billing and invoicing, including integrations with telecom BSS/OSS platforms.
• Analyze business drivers and functional requirements and translate them into backend services, APIs, integrations, and microservice requirements aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Business Engagement teams to convert solution requirements into clear technical implementation plans and reusable backend solutions.
• Represent backend technology across business and IT stakeholder discussions for Digital ONE / Amdocs solution delivery, supporting technical decisions and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure backend solutions meet business objectives and engineering standards for performance, reliability, maintainability, and deployment, collaborating with central and local technology teams on application, infrastructure, and cloud-native delivery approaches.

Requirements & Tech Stack

Must-have skills and experience

• Demonstrable expertise in Amdocs RevenueONE billing and invoicing development and solution design, including integration with telecom BSS/OSS products.
• Backend development experience using a relevant programming language, alongside SQL, PL/SQL, databases, and UNIX shell scripting.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Good understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization, logging, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models in a Product Owner capacity, collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, DevOps, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Professional experience in technical analysis, solution design, and telecom business processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Effective communication, stakeholder engagement, influencing, and decision-making skills, with experience delivering across matrix environments.

Good-to-have skills and certifications

• Cloud knowledge and experience with cloud-native solution patterns.
• Product Owner certification.
