About the Role

The Video Editor role at Evoke India is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling raw footage.
• Organizing project files.
• Editing videos for various formats such as social media, advertisements, corporate films, and branded content.
• Trimming clips.
• Adding transitions.
• Syncing audio.
• Applying color correction.
• Incorporating motion graphics and titles to enhance storytelling.
• Collaborating closely with directors, designers, and producers to understand project objectives, maintain brand consistency, and deliver final outputs within deadlines.
• Optimizing content for different platforms.
• Following established workflows.
• Staying current with industry trends and editing techniques.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) is required.

Qualifications

• Skills in Video Production and Video Editing to handle end-to-end post-production workflows.
• Skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, polished visual output across different projects.
• Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.
• Strong sense of timing, visual storytelling, and sound design, with an eye for detail and continuity.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Relevant coursework or a degree in film, media, communication, or a related field is beneficial.
• Prior experience in an agency or production environment is beneficial.
