About the Role
The Operator Tube Filling role is a full-time, on-site position based at the manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tube filling machines.
- Set machine parameters.
- Ensure smooth, continuous production according to standard operating procedures.
- Load materials.
- Monitor machine performance.
- Perform basic adjustments.
- Coordinate with quality personnel for in-process checks.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area.
- Follow safety and GMP guidelines.
- Document production activities accurately.
- Assist in minor troubleshooting.
- Support changeovers.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience in operating tube filling or similar packaging machinery in a pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or FMCG environment.
- Understanding of manufacturing procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow standard operating instructions.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and hygiene standards in a production setting.
- Ability to complete production records.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Maintain attention to detail during repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Willingness to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to handle routine physical tasks in a factory environment.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Reliable attendance.
- Readiness to communicate issues promptly to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum educational background such as a high school diploma or relevant technical training.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is an advantage.
