2027 Summer Intern, Digital Product
General Motors
About the Role
Digital Products at General Motors owns the definition, development, and delivery of GM’s digital products and customer experiences delivered through mobile applications, back-office platforms, and connected services. This internship offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of software, hardware, vehicle systems, and customer experience, learning from experienced engineers and contributing to hands-on work in building and validating connected and software-defined vehicle experiences.
About The Opportunity
Digital Products is seeking embedded and systems engineering interns interested in the interplay of software, hardware, controls, and vehicle systems. Depending on the team, contributions may include low-level software, real-time systems, hardware/software integration, simulation, diagnostics, or test environments to accelerate vehicle software development. Assignments may involve developing, integrating, simulating, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting components or systems.
