About the Role
The Full Stack Developer Intern will support the design, development, and maintenance of web applications across both front-end and back-end components. This is a remote internship role, offering hands-on experience in a developer-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing user interfaces.
- Writing and testing server-side logic.
- Integrating APIs.
- Ensuring responsive, accessible layouts.
- Collaborating with senior developers to review code.
- Improving architecture.
- Contributing to clean, secure, and scalable solutions aligned with the company’s engineering standards.
- Debugging issues.
- Documenting features.
- Participating in regular team discussions to refine product functionality.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Demonstrated skills in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), including responsive layouts and basic accessibility.
- Foundational experience in Back-End Web Development, with an understanding of APIs, databases, and server-side logic.
- Exposure to Software Development and Full-Stack Development, including working across client and server components.
- Familiarity with at least one modern programming language or framework (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn from feedback and code reviews.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively through written and verbal communication.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Interest in clean architecture, security best practices, and user privacy is highly beneficial.
