Business Analyst

About the Role

Nexal IIT is offering a structured remote internship for college students and freshers. This paid, remote internship has a duration of 3 months with a performance-based stipend of up to ₹10,000. It provides practical exposure to business analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate business insights.
• Assist in identifying business problems and recommending data-driven solutions.
• Create business requirement documents (BRDs), process flows, and functional documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and project objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and help track business performance.
• Support process mapping and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Validate data accuracy and maintain organized business documentation.
• Participate in project discussions, team meetings, and business review sessions.
• Complete assigned tasks, analysis, and project deliverables within deadlines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Work with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or similar analytical platforms.

Qualifications

• Suitable for college students and freshers interested in business analysis, business administration, management, finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of business operations and analytical concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic knowledge of data interpretation, reporting, and problem-solving.
• Understanding of business requirements and process analysis is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other data analysis tools is an added advantage.
• Ability to conduct research, interpret information, and draw logical conclusions.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage deadlines responsibly.
• Willingness to learn new tools, business processes, and analytical techniques.
