Field Services Engineer

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Field Services Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The role involves installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment at customer locations, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose technical issues.
• Perform troubleshooting.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Provide on-site technical support.
• Prepare service reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts and escalations.
• Offer clear guidance and training to customers on equipment usage.
• Represent Hi-Tech Equipments professionally, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality procedures.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Field service capabilities, including on-site installation, commissioning, and equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support for mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance.
• Adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build positive client relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally for on-site assignments.
• Good time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
