About the Role
As an RN in Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) at Touro, you’ll play a vital role in preparing patients for surgery.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete preoperative nursing assessments and review patients’ medical histories.
- Coordinate necessary testing, documentation, and clearances before surgery.
- Educate patients on preoperative instructions and help ease their concerns.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the healthcare team to ensure a smooth surgical journey.
- Help make every patient’s experience safe, seamless, and exceptional.
