Associate, Program Finance 1

About the Role

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to support programs within the Maritime (MAR) Sector of the L3Harris Space & Mission Systems Segment. This role involves partnering with program management teams to analyze financial positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Project controls analyst responsible for set up and activation of assigned projects in ERP system.
• Ensure adherence to all procedures within Finance and Accounting policies.
• Monitor and analyze program costs, perform financial analysis for labor, material, subcontract and ODC (other direct cost) estimates against budget and forecast.
• Prepare Estimates at Completion (EAC) for direct charge programs by working with cross-functional IPT (Integrated Product Team).
• Provide inputs for the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and cash forecasting process.
• Perform variance analysis to forecasted results (EAC, Sales, Profit and Cash), identifying specific drivers of deviations from estimates.
• Review weekly labor/material charges and perform necessary cost transfers.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with SAP/Excel/Hyperion/Deltek COBRA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field, OR completed Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, leadership, and other functions (oral, written, listening).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Prior experience in Aerospace and Defense industry.
• In-depth understanding of government contracts and contract types.
