About the Role

The Volunteer role at Aesthetic Designs LLP is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The volunteer will support architectural and design teams with day-to-day tasks, organizing project documentation, assisting in preparing presentations and design boards, and coordinating basic project information under guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizing project documentation.

• Helping with data collection and research related to sustainable design.
• Supporting internal communications.
• Ensuring meeting notes and action items are accurately recorded and shared.
• Collaborating closely with team members.
• Maintaining an organized workspace.
• Following established workflows and timelines to contribute to ongoing local and international projects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational skills in architecture, design, or related disciplines, with the ability to understand drawings, design concepts, and project documentation.
• Basic research and analytical skills to gather, organize, and present information related to sustainable building practices and project requirements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, maintain records, and support project workflows efficiently.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members, document meetings, and assist in preparing presentations.
• Comfort with using office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software).
• Demonstrated interest in sustainable architecture and the built environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai.
• Ability to collaborate respectfully within diverse teams.
• Ability to follow professional standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Exposure to design or CAD software is an advantage.
• Prior academic coursework or project experience in sustainable architecture and the built environment is beneficial.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree/diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Planning, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
