About the Role
North Vista Hospital is seeking a Dietitian Trainee to join its award-winning team.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a Registered Dietitian, assists in visitation and nutritional screening of patients.
- Distributes general references for basic nutrition.
- Performs data gathering and reports data to the dietitian.
- Performs clerical/support duties necessary for optimal patient care, including the safety and efficiency of food preparation and menu delivery.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Registered Dietitian Eligible
- Completion of an American Dietetic Association approved internship or supervised practice
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- State Specific: California Business and Professions Code for Dietitians 2586.6: The RD Eligible may engage in the activities set forth for six months from the date that he or she completed a supervised practice program, or until the person receives notice that he or she failed the examination…whichever occurs first…
Qualifications
