Job Matcher
Upload your resume and see the entry-level jobs that fit it. We find the skills your resume names, guess the roles it points to, and search live job posts with them. It's keyword matching, not AI, it's free, and your resume is read in your browser, never uploaded.
Your resume
How to use it
- Upload your resume as a PDF or Word file, or paste the text.

How the matching works
The tool reads the text of your resume in your browser, counts the tools, skills and job-title words it recognizes (Python, SQL, Excel, Salesforce, “financial analyst”), and uses the most common ones to search our live job board. It does not use AI and it does not judge your fit for a specific job. For that, paste a job description into the free resume vs job description match tool.
Where these jobs come from
Openings come from company career sites and LinkedIn, filtered to entry-level, new grad and internship roles posted in the last several days. Each job links to its own page on FirstHire with the original application link.
Frequently asked questions
Is this job matcher AI?
No. It's keyword matching: your resume's skills and job-title words are used to search live jobs. Signing in on FirstHire gives you a per-job match score against your resume.
Is my resume uploaded or stored?
No. The file is read in your browser, and only a few search words (like “Python” or “data analyst”) are used to look up jobs.
How do I find jobs that match my resume?
Name your skills the way job posts do, search for the roles they point to, and check each job's requirements against your resume. This tool does the first two steps for you.
Does it work for internships and new grad jobs?
Yes. The live jobs are entry-level, new grad and internship roles in the United States.
What if the roles it suggests are wrong?
The role guess comes from job-title words in your resume, so a resume with several job types can mix them up. Use the skill searches below it, or browse all entry-level jobs by role.
