Machine Learning Intern

About the Role

The Machine Learning Intern will support the development and evaluation of machine learning models, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model experimentation. This is a remote internship role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with research on algorithms and deep learning techniques.
• Implement prototypes in code.
• Analyze results to improve model performance.
• Collaborate with mentors and team members to document findings and prepare reports.
• Contribute to learning materials or internal tools related to machine learning.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in ML such as Python.
• Familiarity with ML libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in Computer Science.
• Solid understanding of Algorithms.
• Applied skills in Machine Learning.
• Familiarity with Deep Learning concepts.
• Working understanding of Statistics, including probability, data analysis, and basic inference.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to learn independently.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with mentors and peers.
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
