The Service Dispatcher is a full-time remote role responsible for coordinating and assigning roadside assistance requests to available service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving calls from customers.
- Gathering key information about their location and issue.
- Using dispatching tools to schedule and route tow trucks and support vehicles efficiently.
- Monitoring job statuses.
- Following up with drivers and customers.
- Updating records to ensure accurate tracking of each service request.
- Communicating clearly.
- Managing expectations.
- Escalating urgent or complex cases as needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with computer systems, call management tools, and basic data entry.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Clear and courteous communication abilities, including excellent Communication and Phone Etiquette skills.
- Operational coordination skills, including Dispatching and basic scheduling or routing capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience in dispatching, call center operations, logistics, or roadside assistance is beneficial.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional training or certifications in customer support or transportation services are an advantage.
