Dietary Aide

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, food service, and tray assembly.
• Prepare and deliver resident meal trays according to dietary guidelines.
• Serve meals and beverages while providing friendly, respectful service.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment, work areas, and dining spaces.
• Stock food, supplies, and serving areas as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
• Work with dietary and nursing staff to meet resident nutritional needs.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Friendly and respectful when interacting with residents and coworkers.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
