Coding Instructor (US)

About the Role

Codingal is seeking passionate Coding Instructors to inspire K-12 students to learn AI & coding. You will be part of a growing community of educators on the #1 live education platform for K-12 students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach coding live to K-12 students through our online platform, making lessons fun, interactive, and age-appropriate.
• Inspire curiosity by helping students discover the joy of building apps, games, and websites.
• Assess and guide student progress, evaluate assignments, and provide constructive feedback.
• Engage with parents/guardians to share progress and address concerns.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions, teacher development programs, and curriculum updates.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must-Have:
• Graduate in CS / IT / Computer Applications (B.Tech, BCA, MCA, M.Tech, or equivalent).
• Strong programming fundamentals with proficiency in at least one language such as Python, JavaScript, Scratch, Java.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Reliable setup: laptop/desktop with camera, microphone, and stable internet (≥10 Mbps).
• Good to Have:
• Prior experience in EdTech, tutoring, or classroom instruction.
• Familiarity with K-12 CS education and age-appropriate pedagogy.
• Growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies and teaching methodologies.

Availability & Commitment

• Minimum 50 hours per month.
• Saturday and Sunday availability is mandatory; longer weekend hours are preferred.
• Flexible weekday slots available.

Compensation & Benefits

• Earn INR 30,000 - 80,000 per month.
• INR 200-500 per class, based on student region, shift, and weekend bonus.
