About the Role
Skylona Interiors & Architecture is offering a hands-on internship opportunity for aspiring designers to gain real-world experience, build their portfolios, and work alongside seasoned industry professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the senior design team in creating 2D layouts and 3D models.
- Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and client presentation materials.
- Accompany senior designers on site visits to observe project execution and take accurate site measurements.
- Source materials, fixtures, and furnishings, and assist with vendor communication.
- Maintain organized project files, design libraries, and daily progress logs.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- A keen eye for aesthetics, spatial arrangements, and color theory.
- Strong willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A compilation of academic or concept work (portfolio) that highlights your design potential.
