About the Role

Amazon is seeking an exceptionally talented Sourcer Recruiter to identify top talent in the US market to support growth within the North American Operations recruiting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit passive candidates by profiling and assessing their fit and motivation.
• Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and relationship management.
• Conduct in-depth interviews to anticipate hiring manager preferences.
• Recommend recruitment strategies to contribute to the company's long-range growth.
• Implement and refine recruiting processes aligned with Amazon's mission for high-quality results.
• Articulate plans with deliverables, timelines, and tracking processes.
• Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/Open web, and other sourcing channels for remote sites.
• Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess fit.
• Filter candidates during recruiter phone screens.
• Conduct on-phone and virtual candidate screening to assess qualification and skill alignment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, X-ray search/Open web, and GitHub.
• 2+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience.
• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience.
• Experience with contact management systems/applicant tracking systems for sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates.
• Ability to curate market intelligence for saturated markets.

Must-Have Skills

• Boolean and Advanced Search: Create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X-ray search/Open web, GitHub, trade forums, and specialized job boards.
• Candidate Engagement for Passive Talent: Skilled in requirement gathering, sourcing, and screening candidates in specialized technical fields.
• Articulate role-based value proposition to candidates.
• Build strategies and brainstorm for efficient and creative sourcing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing high volume as well as niche hiring.

Team & Role Details

• Part of the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, a central sourcing team for WW Amazon Talent Acquisition (ATA).
• Scours for talent across Americas (NA, LATAM), Europe, AMET, and India for Tech, Non-Tech, and High volume spaces.
• This is a 6-month contractual role.
• Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Gurgaon (Remote role).
• Timing: 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM IST.
