About the Role

Crossing Infotech is inviting applications for the position of Medical Billing Intern. This internship is designed for individuals interested in healthcare administration, medical billing, insurance documentation, and revenue cycle management. Interns will gain practical exposure to billing workflows, healthcare records, and administrative processes through guided assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing sample medical bills and healthcare documentation.
• Learn the fundamentals of medical billing and revenue cycle management.
• Understand basic insurance terminology and billing procedures.
• Support the verification of patient and billing information in training records.
• Assist in identifying missing or inconsistent information in sample documents.
• Maintain billing-related spreadsheets and digital records.
• Learn about claim submission and payment processing workflows.
• Prepare basic reports related to billing and documentation activities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
• Good numerical and analytical abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of healthcare terminology or willingness to learn.
• Good written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Qualifications

• Students or graduates from B.Com, BBA, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Healthcare Management, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage.
• Familiarity with medical billing or insurance processes is beneficial.
• Freshers interested in healthcare administration and billing operations are welcome.
