About Snapr
Snapr helps restaurants and cafes sell their surplus prepared food in discounted bags instead of throwing it away. Customers pick up or get it delivered. Snapr works with local partners for timely and reliable pickups and deliveries, aiming for less food waste and good meals at lower prices. They are launching in Koramangala and need 3 people to sign up the first outlets.
The Job
The role involves visiting restaurants and cafes, identifying surplus food, explaining Snapr to owners or managers, and signing them up. You will also assist in listing their first bag and ensuring continued activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Find and visit new restaurants and cafes in person every working day.
- Meet owners and managers, demonstrate Snapr, and answer questions.
- Handle objections and close sign-ups.
- Assist signed outlets in listing their first bag and follow up to maintain activity.
- Solicit feedback from partners and relay it.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth pickups and deliveries.
- Log all visits, sign-ups, and refusals with reasons in a tracker.
- Send daily numbers to the founder.
- Report market observations: who agrees to sign up, who refuses, and the reasons why.
The 15-Day Trial
- Day 1: Training on the pitch and sign-up procedures.
- Days 2-15: Independent outlet visits with a target of 15-20 outlets by the end of the trial.
- Trial Pay: ₹10,000 for 15 days, plus ₹500 for each signed outlet.
- A signed outlet requires a signed document, account creation, an explanation of the system, and the account must be valid for 15 days for successful onboarding.
- Outcome: On Day 15, performance is reviewed to decide on full-time employment. If successful, a written offer with fixed and per-outlet pay is extended. If not, the trial pay is still disbursed in full.
Who We Want
- Ability to build trust quickly in initial meetings with potential clients.
- Skill in negotiation, handling objections, and working towards targets.
- Resilience to accept refusals, note reasons, and proceed to the next opportunity promptly.
- Ability to travel around Koramangala daily.
- Proficiency in using phone apps, spreadsheets, or CRM tools for visit logging.
- Organized, able to work independently, and keep the operations team informed.
- Language Skills: Speak English and Kannada or Hindi or Tamil.
- Experience: Students, freshers, and experienced individuals are welcome to apply.
- Useful Experience: Field sales, food, hospitality, or logistics experience is beneficial.
- A degree or diploma is not required.
- Desirable Trait: Interest in reducing food waste is a plus.
