Author Relationship Manager

About the Role

Notion Press is seeking a self-driven, super organized individual to join our Publishing Management team to assist Notion Press' authors publish their books seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan
• Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan
• Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary
• Resolving cross-functional issues at the project level
• Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary
• Monitor project progress and performance
• Provide status reports to the Team Manager
• Liaise with authors, internal teams, and update progress to the Team Manager
• Customer Service, updating author on project status and progress on a daily basis
• Work closely with authors to ensure the project meets the Industry standards
• Manage project evaluation and dissemination activities
• Is accountable for the delivery of planned deliverables associated with the project
• Providing regular status reports to the Team Manager

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of customer-facing experience
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
• Super organized and has expert multitasking skills
• Loves talking to new people
• Works well with a team and also individually
• Good typing skills
• Computer Skills – MS Excel and MS Word
• Proficiency in English, Hindi, and/OR Tamil
