About the Role
The Remote Video Editor is a contract, hybrid role based in the Greater Kolkata Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role involves editing and assembling video content for educational courses, marketing materials, and social media, ensuring smooth transitions, clear storytelling, and consistent branding. The Video Editor will perform color grading, add motion graphics and titles, incorporate audio tracks, and optimize videos for digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with trainers and the marketing team on content requirements.
- Managing video files and project timelines.
- Delivering polished, student-friendly video assets aligned with LARNR’s educational standards.
- Editing and assembling video content for educational courses, marketing materials, and social media.
- Performing color grading.
- Adding motion graphics and titles.
- Incorporating audio tracks.
- Optimizing videos for digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for educational and promotional content.
- Skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and quality.
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging intros, overlays, and instructional visuals.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities.
- Capacity to follow brand and style guidelines.
- Effective communication skills.
- Reliability in meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Proficiency with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is beneficial.
- Prior experience editing educational, e-learning, or training content and familiarity with IT or technical topics is an advantage.
