Data Analysis Trainee

About the Role

This is a remote traineeship program for a Data Analyst at MedTourEasy. The Data Analyst trainee will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing healthcare and partner-related data from various sources. The trainee will work with senior team members to develop and refine data models, interpret statistical results, and present findings in a clear, structured format. The program also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and contributing to continuous improvement of analytical processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting, cleaning, and organizing healthcare and partner-related data.
• Performing basic data analysis.
• Generating reports and dashboards.
• Supporting the evaluation of international care alternatives with data-driven insights.
• Developing and refining data models.
• Interpreting statistical results.
• Presenting findings in a clear, structured format.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational Data Analytics capabilities.
• Knowledge of Statistics and the ability to apply statistical concepts.
• Basic Data Modeling skills and familiarity with organizing data for analysis.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, or a programming language (e.g., Python or R) is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills.
• Effective Communication skills for explaining findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Interest in healthcare, global health systems, or medical tourism is an advantage.
