Content Specialist, YouTube Trust and Safety

About the Role

YouTube’s Trust & Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators. This role is part of the Hyderabad Content Specialist team within the Trust and Safety organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce YouTube’s content policies, including misinformation, and ensure high quality policy enforcement.
• Manage escalations in the content policy space while ensuring high quality enforcement and clear written communication and policy analysis.
• Review and manage escalations from graphic and controversial video content in line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience reviewing or assessing digital content.
• Experience with data analysis and spreadsheet software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, and reviewing online content.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive strategy and business action.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to direct cross-functionally at various levels.
