About the Role

• This role is for a QA Engineer / App Tester at the Hyderabad office.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct smoke, functional, regression, UI, and usability testing across iOS, Android, and web.
• Test new features against Figma designs and requirements.
• Verify common app flows such as sign-in, guest access, invitations, QR codes, deep links, and sharing.
• Perform end-to-end testing of multi-user flows, including events, lists, bookings, messages, and live updates.
• Test across various devices: phones, tablets, browsers, and screen sizes.
• Write clear bug reports with screenshots or videos, steps to reproduce, and expected vs. actual behavior.
• Create and maintain test cases and release checklists.
• Retest fixes and close verified bugs.
• Execute pre-release smoke and regression passes on TestFlight and Google Play testing builds.
• Verify App Store / Google Play screenshots, metadata, privacy links, permissions, and production configuration.
• Track testing work and defects in Trello, and flag blockers and release risks clearly.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of software testing, mobile and web apps, iOS and Android, browser testing, and Trello or Jira.
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman), GitHub, React Native, Expo, or Supabase is helpful but not required.
