Field Enumerator

About the Role

Chrysalisis Services is seeking freelancers and independent research professionals across India for project-based engagements supporting research, monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment projects. This role involves independently handling assigned research and data-collection activities in your respective locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structured Face-to-Face Surveys with identified respondents and collect accurate field data.
• Conduct Key Informant Interviews (KII) with stakeholders, community representatives, experts, and other relevant respondents.
• Conduct one-on-one In-Depth Interviews (IDI) to capture detailed experiences, perspectives, and insights.
• Facilitate Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with selected participants and document key findings and observations.
• Conduct structured Telephonic Surveys and complete required responses within project timelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in field research, surveys, interviews, FGDs, or data collection.
• Ability to independently manage assignments and meet project timelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with respondents across different backgrounds and locations.
• Willingness to travel locally or across locations as required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local/regional languages is an advantage.

Engagement & Payment

• This is a freelance, project-based engagement.
• Assignments will be allocated based on project requirements, scope, and location.
• Payment will be fixed on a project basis, depending on the nature and scope of the assignment.
• Payment terms will be communicated and mutually agreed upon before each project.
• For assignments requiring travel, travel and accommodation arrangements will be provided/covered.
• Expenses related to food and other eligible project-related travel expenses will be reimbursed as per project guidelines.
