About the Role
As an AI Developer on Booz Allen Hamilton's Air Power team, you will train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data. You will own and define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying cutting-edge Agentic frameworks. You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver solutions for the Air Force.
Key Responsibilities
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain AI models.
- Apply cutting-edge Agentic frameworks to define mission-critical solutions.
- Collaborate with other AI professionals, data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners.
- Guide clients in navigating the landscape of Agentic Frameworks.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 2+ years of experience building production-grade software in Python, TypeScript, or Java.
- Experience with APIs and data services, including FastAPI, Flask, REST, GraphQL, or SQL.
- Experience developing and deploying AI-enabled applications such as LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Ability to design event-driven integrations and workflow automation (e.g., asynchronous messaging, audit logging).
- Ability to implement MLOps or DevSecOps practices (e.g., CI/CD, containerization, automated testing, model evaluation).
- Secret clearance required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Science.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with geospatial or 3D data (e.g., point clouds, LiDAR, photogrammetry).
- Experience with digital-twin or facility and asset data models.
- Experience integrating sensor streams or IoT telemetry and edge-to-cloud data flows (e.g., Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
- Experience deploying software and data or ML pipelines in disconnected, air-gapped, or classified environments.
- Experience with cross-domain data handling constraints.
- Experience with RMF or STIG-aligned delivery.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and practices (e.g., code copilots, automated tests, secure-by-design patterns).
- TS/SCI clearance.
