About the Role
Acrisure is seeking an Associate Underwriter to assist licensed Benefits Advisors. This role is crucial in preparing plan analyses for new client acquisition and existing client retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn Health Care terminology and the Underwriting Process.
- Spreadsheet data for analysis.
- Analyze utilization reporting.
- Spreadsheet budget projections for consultant review and input.
- Assist Account Consultants in creating Executive level summaries.
- Responsibilities will be added based on knowledge and proficiency.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and AI.
- Proficient Analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, responsive and self-motivated.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Exceptional math skills.
- Must be a team player and task oriented.
- Pleasant and positive attitude.
- Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence.
Qualifications
- Must possess a College Degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in Employee Benefit insurance.
- Must possess NJ Life & Health license, or be willing to obtain one.
Compensation
- Base compensation range: $75,000 - $111,000 per year.
- Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
