Article Trainee, CA Inter

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Article Trainee role for CA Inter candidates at Palak J Shah & Co in Ahmedabad. The role offers hands-on training aligned with the CA curriculum and practical exposure to professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in statutory and tax audits.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Maintain accounting records.
• Work on direct and indirect tax compliances.
• Draft working papers.
• Support the filing of returns.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory and client requirements.
• Coordinate with senior team members.
• Interact with clients under guidance.
• Perform research on accounting and tax issues.
• Maintain accurate, organized work papers.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word.
• Familiarity with basic accounting software.
• Familiarity with tax and audit tools is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Completed or pursuing CA Inter, eligible for articleship as per ICAI guidelines.
• Strong fundamentals in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Ahmedabad and commit to the full articleship tenure.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines responsibly.
• Willingness to learn, take guidance from seniors, and adhere to professional ethics and confidentiality requirements.
• Prior internship or practical exposure in accounting or tax is beneficial but not mandatory.
