Inventory Analyst

About the Role

This is a great entry-level position for individuals looking for a career in merchandise planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist planning managers with various daily reports.
• Assist planners with purchase orders, including: keying orders, maintaining corrections and revisions.
• Maintain daily communication with vendors to confirm and track purchase orders, and communicate revisions.
• Learn to enter data into the mainframe system and own all data entry.
• Maintain and communicate to cross-functional teams on a weekly basis a list of all accrued departmental backorders and a comprehensive analysis of backorder relief.
• Communicate a list of sku/collection priorities to the sourcing and operations team on a bi-weekly basis, taking learnings from backorder reporting and cross-functional members.
• Assist in a smooth and efficient delivery of product.
• Prepare a weekly transfers list for the allocations and operations team and follow up to ensure transfers happen.
• Partner in cross-functional meetings to help ensure data is in line with strategies and deadlines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong Excel skills necessary ( Pivot Tables, Vlookups )
• Mainframe system knowledge (or ability to learn)
