Key Responsibilities

• CHA & Freight Forwarder Coordination
• Negotiate directly with CHAs and Freight Forwarders for smooth, end-to-end customs clearance.
• Share required import/export documents (Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List) with CHAs on time to avoid custom delays.
• Resolve customs queries, holds, or documentation issues quickly to avoid extra port fees (demurrage/detention).
• Route & Cost Optimization (Air, Sea, Road)
• Compare and choose the best transport mode (Air, Sea, or Road) based on shipment urgency and weight.
• Analyze different shipping lanes and routes to determine the most cost-effective and efficient option.
• Obtain multiple quotes from different vendors to negotiate and secure the lowest possible freight rates.
• Shipment Tracking & Vendor Management
• Track all live shipments from supplier warehouse to final destination.
• Maintain relationships with transporters, shipping lines, and local logistics vendors.
• Update internal teams daily on shipment status and delivery timelines.
