Firefighter

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Firefighter role based in Delhi, India. The Firefighter will be responsible for responding to fire emergencies, rescue situations, and other incidents to protect people, property, and assets within company sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to fire emergencies, rescue situations, and other incidents.
• Inspecting and maintaining firefighting equipment.
• Conducting routine fire safety checks.
• Monitoring compliance with fire safety protocols.
• Participating in drills and training.
• Assisting with fire risk assessments.
• Educating team members on emergency procedures and safe practices.
• Collaborating closely with safety officers and local emergency services.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Emergency response skills, including safe firefighting techniques, rescue operations, and incident management.
• Knowledge of fire safety regulations, building safety standards, and workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to operate and maintain firefighting equipment and tools, including hoses, extinguishers, breathing apparatus, and communication devices.
• Good physical fitness, stamina, and the ability to work in high-pressure, hazardous environments and varying weather conditions.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant firefighter training or certification from a recognized institution or fire academy is highly beneficial.
• Prior experience in industrial, municipal, or facility-based firefighting or emergency services is an advantage.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately is preferred.
