Software Engineer, Java/C++/Python

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Backend Software Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve our blockchain infrastructure and data delivery systems. You will work on backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and real-time streaming systems, contributing to the reliability and performance of our infrastructure.

Job Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Compensation: ₹3.6 LPA

Key Responsibilities

• Build and Maintain Backend Services: Develop, test, and maintain reliable backend applications, APIs, and services.
• Develop Data Processing Pipelines: Contribute to systems that process, index, and deliver large volumes of data efficiently.
• Improve Performance and Reliability: Identify and resolve technical issues, optimize application performance, and maintain stability.
• Work with Real-Time Data Systems: Develop and maintain services that deliver data through APIs and real-time communication interfaces.
• Support Infrastructure and Deployment: Assist with server deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance in Linux environments.
• Collaborate and Deliver: Work closely with the engineering team on code reviews, testing, technical improvements, and feature delivery.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Programming Fundamentals: Good programming skills in at least one language, such as Python, Java, C++, or similar, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Backend Development: Basic understanding of backend applications, REST APIs, networking, and client-server architecture.
• Database Knowledge: Familiarity with relational databases, data storage, and caching systems. Exposure to PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or Redis is an advantage.
• Linux and Development Tools: Comfortable working with Linux, Git, and command-line tools. Familiarity with Docker is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Able to troubleshoot issues, analyse problems logically, and write clean, maintainable code.
• Learning and Ownership: Curious, self-motivated, accountable, and willing to take ownership of tasks.
• Teamwork and Communication: Able to communicate clearly, collaborate with team members, and adapt to changing technical requirements.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to real-time communication technologies such as WebSockets or gRPC.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, high-throughput applications, or data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, server deployments, or application monitoring.
• An interest in blockchain technology and infrastructure.
