About the Role
Soundverse is developing an agent-native music studio where creators can make, own, market, and distribute music with the assistance of an AI agent. We ship quickly across various platforms including web, Android, a desktop app, and a browser extension. We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to shipping real features.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop product features for our web app using React, TypeScript, and Next.js that are used by creators daily.
- Work with browser audio, including Web Audio and AudioWorklets, focusing on real-time playback and editing within our AI Studio.
- Develop tooling for our AI agent (Agent One), integrating new AI tools from planning and execution to UI.
- Engage in testing, performance optimization, and polishing features, owning work end-to-end from idea to production.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one other programming language.
- Demonstrated experience in building and shipping projects (e.g., personal projects, open source, hackathons, or past internships).
- Ability to read unfamiliar codebases and work efficiently with care.
Qualifications
- Bonus: Experience or knowledge in audio/DSP, music production, C++ (JUCE), or building with LLMs.
