Join our Finance Transformation practice to help Deloitte client service teams define and execute Finance and Global Business Services agendas and strategies. You will work with world-class teams and insights, helping support delivery in challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to help unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we collaborate with teams to enable transforming finance.

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will help clients reimagine and optimize their finance processes to enable transformation, business growth and digital finance capabilities. This role involves designing future-state operating models, advising on ERP and technology solutions, and leading process improvements across core finance areas. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the Finance Transformation - Finance Operations Transformation team, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing, designing, and optimizing end-to-end finance processes across Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, and Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Advising on ERP and digital finance solutions by aligning business requirements with standard and custom technology capabilities.
• Redesigning finance processes, data structures, and performance measures, including chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers, and key performance indicators.
• Leading business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution blueprinting, and future-state process design.
• Collaborating with cross-functional and global stakeholders to deliver finance transformation programs on time and with measurable business impact.

The Team

Our Finance Transformation – Global Business Services (GBS) practice serves as a trusted advisor to CFOs and executives, helping shape the CFO agenda, improve operating models, and drive enterprise value in the digital economy. The GBS Advisory team partners with organizations to design and implement GBS strategies, including service delivery models, operating model transformation, and location strategies. Leveraging next-generation technologies like Generative AI, we drive innovation across Finance, Procurement, and IT. Our scope includes outsourcing advisory, vendor selection, and end-to-end transformation. We seek motivated individuals with strong analytical, communication, and consulting skills to join our dynamic GBS group.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in finance process assessment, process reengineering, business requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Experience with one or more finance process areas, including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Financial Planning and Analysis, Tax, Treasury, or Risk and Compliance.
• Experience advising on finance data and control structures, including chart of accounts, general ledger, accounting, controlling, costing, planning, consolidation, reporting, data management, or finance analytics.
• Experience with ERP or finance technology platforms and alignment of business requirements to system functionality.
• Experience creating design documentation, conducting gap analysis, and supporting transformation value realization.
• Preferred: Experience supporting or managing large-scale technology implementation programs.
• Preferred: Experience with one or more platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, BlackLine, HighRadius, Basware, ServiceNow for Finance, Workiva, or Anaplan.
• Preferred: Experience with process mining or process mapping tools such as Celonis or Epiplex.
• Preferred: Experience in Finance Operations, Financial Planning and Analysis, Enterprise Performance Management, or industry-specific finance processes.
• Preferred: Experience with digital finance technologies such as robotic process automation, Generative AI, predictive analytics, or machine learning.
• Preferred: Experience working with global stakeholders or teams outside India, preferably in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration, or Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 2.5-5 years of finance transformation experience; for Chartered Accountant candidates, 3-5 years of experience after qualification.
• Location: Hyderabad, Bengaluru (candidates from other locations should be willing to relocate).
