About the Role

As a Copyright and Licensing Assistant, you will support the team in managing and maintaining copyright and licensing rights. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Delhi, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Creation, review, and filing of license documents.
• Maintenance of databases.
• Monitoring of contract durations and usage rights.
• Regular communication with internal departments and external partners.
• Responding to inquiries regarding license terms.
• Assisting in the clarification of legal and administrative questions.
• Preparing reports and analyses on license portfolios.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for clear and service-oriented interaction with internal teams, clients, and license partners.
• Customer and service orientation to professionally handle inquiries and provide reliable support on licensing and copyright matters.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to structure tasks, including careful documentation, deadline monitoring, and use of database or administration tools.
• Experience in the field of licensing or rights management.
• Understanding of copyright and contractual fundamentals within the media and investment environment.
• Familiarity with MS Office.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree (e.g., Law, Media, Business) is advantageous.
• Good English language skills are advantageous.
• High attention to detail is advantageous.
• Willingness to further develop expertise in copyright and licensing issues is advantageous.
