About the Role
We are hiring a Software Engineer (Fresher) on behalf of our client. This role involves designing, developing, and testing software applications that solve real user problems. Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior engineers
- Develop and maintain web or mobile application features
- Build and integrate REST APIs and work with databases
- Debug, test, and fix issues to improve application quality and performance
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
- Collaborate with designers, QA, and product teams to deliver features on time
- Learn and apply software development best practices and design patterns
- Prepare basic technical documentation for the features you build
- Stay updated with new tools, frameworks, and technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (BE/BTech/BCA/MCA; 2024/2025/2026 graduates welcome)
- Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP concepts
- Knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, or C#
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (for web roles)
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub and version control
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team
