Editorial Intern
Foundlogue⚡
About the Role
Foundlogue is a new-age editorial platform dedicated to documenting the journeys behind founders and the brands they build. We focus on the story that comes before success: where founders came from, what shaped them, how the idea originated, early struggles, first customers, failures, turning points, and the journey through which an idea became a company. We are building our editorial team and are looking for an Editorial Intern – Founder Stories based in Bengaluru.
What You'll Do
You'll work closely with the editorial team and contribute to the complete journey of developing a Foundlogue story — from research and interview preparation to writing, fact-checking, and publication.
Key Responsibilities
- Research founders, companies, industries, and relevant background material before interviews.
- Study previous interviews, public profiles, company milestones, and available source material to identify gaps and interesting story angles.
- Prepare founder briefing notes and thoughtful interview questions.
- Participate in founder interviews and gradually take ownership of conducting parts of the conversation.
- Work with interview recordings, transcripts, notes, and supporting documents.
- Identify the strongest moments, turning points, struggles, decisions, and insights from founder conversations.
- Assist in developing long-form founder profiles and feature stories.
- Write and refine sections of stories, headlines, introductions, summaries, and supporting editorial copy.
- Fact-check names, dates, quotations, milestones, claims, and other information before publication.
- Assist with copy editing, proofreading, and maintaining consistency in Foundlogue’s editorial style.
- Help organize founder timelines and inputs for Founder Roadmaps and other visual editorial formats.
- Support podcast and video interview research, briefing, and editorial preparation.
- Maintain research notes, interview records, editorial trackers, and story documentation.
- Contribute ideas for founders, story angles, recurring editorial formats, and future features.
- Use AI-assisted tools responsibly for transcription, research organization, outlining, and editorial support while applying human judgment at every stage.
What We're NOT Looking For
This is not an SEO-blog-writing or social-media-only internship. Foundlogue is built around original research, founder conversations, and human storytelling. AI can support the editorial process, but the curiosity, questions, judgment, verification, and storytelling must come from you.
What You’ll Get to Learn & Build
You’ll be joining Foundlogue at an early stage, which means you’ll get exposure to much more than writing assignments.
Opportunities
- Founder research
- Interview preparation

- Fact-checking and editorial verification
- Copy editing and proofreading
- Founder Roadmaps

You’ll also get the opportunity to interact directly with founders and entrepreneurs and understand the decisions, struggles, and experiences behind building companies. Strong performers may have the opportunity to take on greater editorial ownership and explore longer-term roles with Foundlogue.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Candidates should be based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate and should be comfortable attending in-person editorial meetings, founder interviews, recordings, and other sessions when required.
