About the Role

The Housekeeper role at Westgate Flamingo Bay Resort involves maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and ensuring a positive experience for guests, embodying Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently meet quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of all assigned rooms.
• Achieve a productivity goal of 12 credits per day, with credits assigned based on the size and type of service required.
• Deliver guest rooms free of critical defects by maintaining a unit inspection score of 90% or above, adhering to the resort's established guidelines.
• Perform room cleaning tasks, including stripping units, removing all trash, and cleaning various areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks.
• Utilize equipment and supplies responsibly, following established procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Immediately report any Lost & Found items, adhering to established protocols.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and assist with other duties as necessary.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to lift 35lbs.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must prove eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Westgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace. Applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate, except where prohibited by law.
