About the Role

• Public Area Attendant role for daily cleaning and care of public areas.
• Position is full-time, on-site, and located in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and care of public areas including entrance areas, hallways, sanitary facilities, and common rooms.
• Tasks include dusting, sweeping, wet cleaning, waste disposal, and refilling consumables.
• Regularly check cleanliness.
• Report necessary repairs.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to work in building cleaning, ideally in public spaces or hospitality.
• Reliability, punctuality, and careful work methods.
• Responsibility for hygiene and safety regulations.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Physical resilience for standing and walking activities.
• Teamwork skills and respectful interaction with colleagues and guests.
• Basic communication skills in English or a regional language.
• Flexibility regarding working hours (potentially shift work, weekend, and public holiday work).
• Initial work experience in the service sector is advantageous.
