Position Details

• Pay Range: $50.50–$68.18/hour (advertised); starting pay based on experience, with a maximum new-hire starting rate of $52.45/hour.
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and general diagnostic radiographic examinations.
• Operate CT scanners and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and administer contrast media, including intravenous contrast injections.
• Prepare patients, examination rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Ensure imaging quality, radiation safety, and compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
• Deliver excellent patient care while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
• Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, patient positioning, radiation physics, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to support high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Two years of diagnostic X-ray experience (preferred).
• One year of CT experience (preferred).
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Current California Radiologic Technology (CRT) certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health.
• Approved CPR certification.
• ARRT certification and California fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within six months of hire.
• Current ARRT certification (preferred).
• Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification (preferred).
• California fluoroscopy permit (preferred).
• Advanced certification in CT (preferred).

Skills

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, and radiographic positioning.
• Understanding of radiation protection, radiation physics, radiobiology, and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to quality patient care.
