IT Quality Assurance Intern

About the Role

Arhaus is seeking an IT Quality Assurance Intern for Spring 2027. This internship offers hands-on experience with QA processes, tools, and methodologies while collaborating with IT, business, and development teams. The intern will support the Arhaus Global IT Quality Assurance (QA) team in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of technology solutions.

Internship Details:

• Timeframe: January - May 2027
• Pay: $16/hr
• Hours: Part-Time (ability to work around class schedule)
• Location: On-Site at HQ in Boston Heights, OH

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, maintaining, and executing test cases for applications, integrations, and system enhancements.
• Participate in defect tracking and validation through tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Support test data setup and environment validation activities.
• Help document and communicate test results, issues, and observations to QA leads and developers.
• Learn and apply QA methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on process improvements and test automation opportunities.
• Contribute to QA documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with an interest in software quality and user experience.
• Familiarity with testing concepts or tools (manual or automated) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative IT environment.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in a relevant field.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
