L&D Capability Partner

About the Role

Lumos is an authoring platform focused on creating immersive learning experiences for modern organizations and educators. This role is a client-side deployment where the resource will be working at a VC-funded client location day-to-day with different department heads, learners, and founders. Lumos is a preferred partner with multiple listed organizations in India.

The L&D Capability Building Partner is a full-time, on-site contract role based in Bengaluru for one of our client organizations. The role has three key components:

• Learning Needs Assessor: Review existing process documents, tools, or concepts (provided in formats like docs, PPTs) and convert them onto the Lumos tool. This is for business functions such as operations, sales, pre-sales, customer service, and support.
• Content Planner and Creator: Plan and create content for any tool, process, or concept.
• Training Execution: Manage training delivery (online, in-person, or blended) for employees pan-India. This includes managing learning operations, tracking completion, identifying content gaps, and improving them to ensure adequate learning coverage support for all business functions.

Qualifications

• Ideally, you should have experience in at least 2 out of the 3 listed activities (Learning Needs Assessor, Content Planner and Creator, Training Execution) in past roles.
• Total work experience should be less than 5 years.
• Experience in learning and development, capability building, instructional design, or related fields, with the ability to design structured learning journeys.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication, with the ability to work closely with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Comfort with digital learning tools and platforms, and an interest in immersive or experiential learning methods.
• Ability to analyze learning needs, define measurable outcomes, and use feedback or data to refine programs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Prior experience in consulting, corporate training, or program management is an advantage.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered approaches and openness to experimenting with new learning formats.
• Solid written and verbal skills are essential.
