About the Role
The Junior Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate between buyers, production teams, and internal departments to ensure timely execution of denim orders.
- Assist in sample development.
- Prepare product specifications.
- Track order status.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Support pricing discussions.
- Monitor quality checkpoints.
- Help manage merchandising calendars.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Gather market feedback.
- Contribute to trend and fabric research to support new collections.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work with spreadsheets and order tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, especially denim.
- Familiarity with production timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills.
- Strong Customer Service skills.
- Sales and Retail awareness.
- Marketing insight.
- Relevant educational background in Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, or Business is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
