About the Role
HCA Healthcare is committed to the growth and development of future nurses and offers sponsorship (EB3 Visa) to F-1 students for opportunities in several hospital locations in Kansas City. This program is designed to help you launch your career as a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department requirements and nursing standards.
- Assess patient condition upon admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by medical providers, and document care accurately.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic and unintended responses.
- Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues proactively.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- OPT that can be active upon graduation and ability to start working close to the OPT active date.
- Willingness to continue education using the Day One CPT program (hybrid online programs available, including one in Kansas City for MSN).
- Must be willing to work while attending future education.
- Education must be from the United States, and you must be currently living in the United States.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment.
- Other Certifications may be required during employment.
- Some travel may be needed for training.
Qualifications
- Upcoming August 2026, September, and December 2026 Grads from BSN Nursing programs ONLY.
- Graduates from May 2026 or earlier cohorts are not being accepted.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
- No previous experience needed.
- Must be an F-1 student eligible for EB3 Visa sponsorship.

- Specialty units
- ICUs

- Only one application is needed to support sponsorship opportunities.
- A recruiter will schedule a call to discuss your top areas of interest and hospital preference.
- Opportunities for advancement to specialty units are available after 1 year of employment.
- $5,000 Relocation Bonus is provided for those more than 50 miles from HCA Healthcare hospitals.
- Hospitals providing sponsorship: Centerpoint Medical Center, Lee's Summit Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center, Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Research Medical Center, and Research Psychiatric Center.
