Fullstack AI/ML Developer Intern

About the Role

CraticAI is a deep-tech AI startup focused on transforming manufacturing operations using advanced Artificial Intelligence. This is a full-time remote Founder's Office – Fullstack AI/ML Developer Intern role. The intern will work closely with the founding team to design, develop, and deploy end-end AI-driven features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI-driven features, from data pipelines and model training to backend APIs and lightweight front-end integrations.
• Experiment with ML models.
• Integrate ML models into production systems.
• Write clean and maintainable code.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable AI products.
• Collaborate on product roadmaps.
• Participate in technical problem-solving.
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback from manufacturing clients.
• Gain exposure to strategic decision-making, cross-functional coordination, and startup operations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong programming fundamentals in languages commonly used for AI/ML and backend development (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts, model training workflows, and experience with popular ML libraries or frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Experience or interest in fullstack development, including building RESTful APIs, working with databases, and basic front-end development using modern frameworks.
• Comfort with software engineering best practices such as version control (Git), testing, debugging, and writing clean, well-documented code.
• Ability to research and prototype AI-driven solutions, experiment with new tools, and rapidly iterate in a startup environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
• Willingness to take ownership of tasks in a remote, fast-paced setting.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in industrial AI, manufacturing, and building products with real-world operational impact is highly beneficial.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
