About the Role
D.A. Davidson & Co., a leading full-service investment banking firm, is seeking Summer Analysts to work with the Investment Banking Group. This is a 10-week program designed to introduce candidates to the firm's Investment Banking business. A portion of permanent Analyst positions will be filled from this summer internship program.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and provide presentation/research material for pitch books, memorandums, presentations, and other projects.
- Develop financial modules to analyze a wide variety of client-specific projects.
- Collaborate with an industry team from peer analysts to managing directors.
- Work on various projects to support client relations.
- Support business development activities of senior investment bankers.
- Monitor and update contact/deal database as needed for specific deal teams.
- Assist deal teams with other necessary day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications
- Junior in college.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Self-motivated, with a strong desire to excel in a challenging field.
- Working knowledge of business software.
- General level of financial knowledge and interest (e.g., financial modeling, macroeconomics, current events).
- Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information.
- Teamwork skills and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends, as needed for workflow.
- Majors considered: All (though Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business are specified in one instance).
