Position Overview

The Summer Analyst/Associate Internship program offers an understanding of CRA's business and experience in project work. Interns will work alongside senior colleagues on live client consulting projects within a practice area for 8-10 weeks. Successful interns may be offered a full-time position following graduation.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply data analytics, AI/ML, and LLM techniques in a life sciences context.
• Work with large healthcare and real-world evidence (RWE) datasets to generate critical insights.
• Build statistical and machine learning models, cloud-based solutions, or custom visualizations.
• Assist with the collection, loading, standardization, and identification of relevant data.
• Communicate findings to team members via visuals, data tables, and models.
• Assist with the development of client materials.
• Contribute to knowledge management and research activities, leveraging AI to synthesize literature and competitive landscape.

Note: This is a consulting position requiring strong analytics, problem-solving, and communication skills, not a technical IT role.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Backgrounds in Computer Science and Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
• Interest in Life Sciences.
• Experience or strong interest in AI/ML, LLMs, cloud and data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks).
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Experience in utilizing AI services or automation tools and scripts.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated high level of initiative and leadership.
• Proven teamwork and time management.
• Clear and demonstrated interest in life sciences consulting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's (non-MBA) degree candidates graduating December 2027/Summer 2028.
