Role Details

• Job Title: Central Fill Pharmacy Technician
• Company: Genoa Healthcare (part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group)
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, with a lunch break from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
• Location: 4631 S Power Rd. Mesa, AZ

Key Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data into a computer to maintain inventory records.
• Assists the pharmacist with pharmacy functions and ensures the pharmacy remains in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates using strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Licensure: Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona OR an active Trainee Technician License in the state of Arizona OR ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Transportation: Access to reliable transportation.
• Skills: Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Preferred: National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Preferred: Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Range: $16.00 to $29.00 per hour (based on full-time employment).
