About The Department

Role Overview
As a Housekeeper, you play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas within Henry Ford Health System locations. Your work directly supports patients, staff, and visitors by ensuring a sanitary and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and servicing of assigned work areas.
- Care for and properly use assigned equipment.
- Ensure economical and efficient use of supplies.
- Perform custodial duties to maintain a sanitary and orderly environment.
- Interact directly with the patient population, providing high-level customer service.
Qualifications
- High School diploma, G.E.D., or six (6) months to one (1) year of experience.
- Ability to interact directly with the patient population.
- Demonstrated high level of customer service and "Patients First" sensibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare or custodial role.
